In this improvisational duo project called “Hidden Stories," bassist Evan Jagels and pianist Nicole Brancato explore the stories behind Hyde Halls works of art and historical pieces. The unique artifacts in Hyde Hall date back to the 19th century, ranging from two fortepianos and impressive oil portraits of the Clark family. Like movements in a symphony or chapters in a book, they musically interpret the tales behind the canvas. They bring the hall’s visual world to life with new, sonic imaginations.
