In the debut album of Duo Extempore called Ordinary Places, Nicole Brancato (piano) & Evan Jagels (bass) explore the intersection of time, place, and memory, and finds beauty in the everyday moments that we share.

The innovative recordings incorporate field recordings of everyday locations as the third member in a musical trio. We improvise in dialogue with these recordings, exploring the fluid boundaries between music and the ordinary sounds of life we experience each day, and exalting the familiar cycles and spaces of our shared humanity as extraordinary.
